Sometimes I need to call him this because I am so used to dainty foot steps and twirls that when the strange sound effects, crashing from anything that is even remotely off ground, and the double foot jump down each step takes me by surprise. I remind myself he is The Boy.
The boy loves tuesday because it is Garbage day. He hears the trucks all day long and sits here and waits for them to arrive at our street. Once the driver honked at him now guess what he does every Tuesday?
This looks like a mess but to the boy it is a wonderland of roads, train tracks and tunnels. I am so happy that he likes to use his imagination and can do this for long stretches of time.
I love The Boy.
I am so fond of these flakes of gold. Every year for one week my tree looks like this. Next week the ground will be full of piles of gold for the kids jumping enjoyment.
My last Tuesday favorite, great smelling laundry soap that cost me $13 for 500 loads of laundry and reminds me of my Grandma Call. That makes it a super favorite! I am now off to prepare for the swing shift. Well, kind of, more on that another day.

Don't you just love how boys are boys!? I am constantly amazed at the things Dylan comes up with...like trying to head wrestle the poor little girl next to him at story time yesterday! Such the boy!
I am so glad you started blogging again! It makes me feel connected to all of you guys up there in Utah. Your family is beautiful, and I have to admit I am a little jealous of your fall leaves...we don't get those down here in AZ. Take care and tell everyone hello for me!
