In my efforts to simplify. I am wishing you all a happy holiday season via blog post. I have ideas of wonderfully thought out and personalized Christmas cards. You must know that the thoughts of you all are in my heart. I do enjoy a good trip down memory lane and often find myself smiling as a memory hits me. This season has been interesting and I can't quite put my finger on it. Example: I have my Christmas decor up religiously on Black Friday, after my shopping, of course. This year the boxes came out and sat for a week. Still the tree is a crumpled mess and undecorated. I mean to get to it but then the day just happens. What my finger has landed on is the need to simplify. Hence the blog Christmas card. It will be a daily decision on whether or not a task gets done. This is a new thing for me as I am a get her done kind of gal.

2010 Year in Review.

Miss Meg has leaped and bounded this year. I have so enjoyed watching her blossom into a wonderful young lady. She is full of spunk and imagination. Meg has worked hard at all of her goals and is making great strides in many aspects of her world. She has started helping busy moms with their littles while they get caught up on daily tasks. She has a natural way with babies and is looking forward to the day when she can watch kids for real. Miss Meg is a joy to our home.

Our Sugarbug can be found sneaking around the house doing random acts of kindness. She thrives on service and sweet things. Mollianne loves to dance, sing, and write notes. She is a delightfully funny girl and we are so happy to have her as our middle.
Samurai is Three. That pretty much says it all. He is the boy and pretty much owns me. Like this morning when he ate 15 or so Hershey kisses for breakfast. I know! Who am I? But really, look at that face, the deck is stacked in his favor. He loves to jump, give hugs, and play with his trains. He also loves his family and is always concerned when someone is away from home. We love our little warrior and are so glad to have him here.

Murri is so much fun. He makes us laugh and is great at diffusing estrogen filled "discussions". He has been with Oracle for 10 years and works very hard to provide for our crew. Matt is kind, patient and a friend to all.
At the close of this year I am reflecting on all that my life is blessed with. I treasure these four blessings and all of you that have touched my life through the years. I am most grateful for the birth of our Savior and His great sacrifice. He is my advocate, teacher, friend, and Savior. I am grateful for an increased capacity to manage all that is required of me. I appreciate the laughter and joy that is my family. I wish you a happy and joyful holiday season.
Hugs and Kisses,
H
P.S. Fantastic photography by my talented friend.
Peg Watkins. Check out her work and get a photo shoot scheduled. Today.
