On Task Today. Not me. I started to focus on the kitchen. I cleaned the counter, moved the table and chairs to clean the floor. Then left. Sometime later I return to find the table and chairs still misplaced. Put them back. Debate for a good portion of the day to clean the fridge. Finally start the process by removing food. Then left. Sometime later realize I left food all over the counter and am frustrated that I can't stay on task. GRRR. Days like this seem to be frequenting my home. I am stuck in play summer mode and the rest of the crew has moved on without me. BOO.
Today's highlights: Listening to my girls play house. I never tire overhearing their awesome imaginations at work. Samurai squeezing my cheeks into a pucker then whispering, "i love you so much" Followed by the sweetest kiss a boy can give his momma. Matt for his tender, "Do you need some help focusing today? Let me fold this load of laundry so you can get back to the fridge." I really did marry an awesome guy. He mostly brings out the fun in me but today he brought out the focus. Thank you, my dear. xo
