This year I decided to take some of our family traditions and put them into one fun filled night instead of sporadically through out the year. Thanks R for letting me piggy back your idea.
The kids received this invitation on their beds with the request to RSVP in writing. Another time I will scan and post Meg's RSVP. It made me smile. This night was all about celebrating
our family accomplishments and setting goals for this upcoming school year. In pondering this years theme Matt and I realize that it will be an easier year if we can KEEP CALM before choosing our reaction in tough situations. That way we can focus on STAYing STRONG as an individual and as a family. We discussed various tough situations as we ate dinner.
After we had a fantastic dance party and awards ceremony followed by a back to school fashion show.

To close out the evening Matt gave the kids each a father's blessing. It is always a tender moment for me. We had a wonderful time dining, celebrating, and laughing together. This year will be fantastic as we "KEEP CALM AND STAY STRONG".
