Today I am grateful for time to write down my thoughts. Most of my home is in order, book club book read, laundry going, stake conference talk given, girls at school, Sam in the tub with dinos. A few moments to reflect. Our home has needed some direction the past few monnths. We seem to have settled into a behavior that doesn't bring a lot of peace to our home. I am not sure that I can pin point any one thing just that we seem to have lost focus. We are running around in a sort of chaos. Last night we attempted a family counsel. It was a little crazy as we have some strong wills and tender hearts. It was a start. We came up with some thoughts that we hope to refine with time.
Megan suggested that we should be Tiggers not Eeyores. Her way of saying be a positive thinker. Molli thinks we should be like Jesus and be kind by serving one another. I just want peace without contention. Matt wants to learn and have fun. Sam replied with his belly laugh so we take that as his desire to laugh and be happy.
The Murri family has decided to take Pres. Gibbon's suggestion from D&C 115:5 Arise and shine forth, that your light may be a standard for the nations. We want to focus on our light by being happy, positive people that strive to live the gospel.
It still needs some work but I think we are off to a good start. This morning ran smoother than the past few for that I am grateful.
